Jay Hernandez, born February 20, 1978 in Montebello, California, USA, is an actor. He plays Paul Wells in Last Resort. He is a recurring guest star in the first season and debuts in the second episode "Blue on Blue". He was initially booked for an eight episode arc.[1] He has been active since 1998 and has also starred in the series Hang Time and Six Degrees. He has had roles in the films Crazy/Beautiful (2001), The Rookie (2002), Friday Night Lights (2004), Ladder 49 (2004), Hostel (2005), World Trade Centre (2006), Hostel: Part II (2007), Quarantine (2008), Lakeview Terrace (2008), and Takers (2010).
