John Zinman is an American motion picture writer and producer. He is a Co-Executive Producer and writer for the first season of Last Resort. He shares the role with his writing partner Patrick Massett. They worked with Last Resort co-creator Shawn Ryan on his earlier series The Chicago Code. Zinman has been active since 1992 and has also worked on the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) and the series Friday Night Lights, Veritas: The Quest, and Caprica
